Basic information about the country is also included.   Council on East Asian Libraries: CEAL has information guides on China, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Taiwan, Hong Konk, Macau, and Asia in General. The information guides provide links to articles dealing with numerous aspects of the country, for example: Art, Business/Economics, Education, Environment, Food, Gender Issues, Geography, Government/Politics, History, Language, Literature, Military, Music, Popular Culture, Society, and Sports and Leisure.   Central Europe Online: A digest of the daily news of Central Europe including business and economy, government and politics, and industry.   CountryReports.org: Basic information (e.g., statistical) is provided for a wide number of countries on their economy, defense, geography, government, and people. There are also links to international news and countries' news organizations, city guides, weather, and museums.   Geography Lessons and Activities: Lesson plans for students in K-12 (organized by grade level) from the National Geographic Society's Geography Education Program.
